Eighth graders from UISD, LISD, and Webb CISD were recognized for their hard work and dedication to their academics. The ceremony took place at George Washington Middle School where students were presented with a certificate of congratulations and a trophy for their efforts. Among those present at the ceremony were parents and family members of the students being honored, the Laredo Police Department, KGNS, and our Friends of the Family sponsors including Family Chevrolet and Laredo Medical Center. Entertainment was provided prior to the ceremony and refreshments were served once the ceremony concluded.
