By Ray Gomez

Police are still looking for leads in a shooting that left a man dead two weeks ago on Laredo’s west side.

Police say they are looking at some leads but still need more information in the second homicide of the year.

The incident happened in the 18 hundred block of San Jorge.

According to police a 62-year old man was shot in the head, and was found at the entrance to his home.

He was found alive by officers, but later died at the Laredo Medical Center.

Since then police have been searching for information on who shot this man.

Again if you have any information you are asked to call police at 795-2800.

You can also called anonymously to Crimestoppers at 727-TIPS and you could receive a reward of up to one thousand dollars.
