Anchor / Meteorologist - Victoria Marshall

CW "FN@9" Anchor & Meteorologist

Victoria Marshall is the CW Meteorologist and anchor, and also contributes as a reporter in the field. Born and raised in Laredo, Victoria became fascinated by weather at an early age, while watching her idol Richard “Heatwave” Berler on TV.

Victoria’s passion for weather followed her throughout her years at John B. Alexander High School. Although, she never imagined pursuing studies in meteorology until she was at the University of the Incarnate Word. Since then, Victoria has made meteorology the focus of her life.

A cum laude graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word, Victoria earned a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology. While in school, she authored a petition for the AMS/NWA Student Chapter at the UIW Campus and served as its’ first president. During her term, she organized several events, including trips to the National Weather Service Austin/San Antonio office and a Severe Weather Awareness Week. For her academic achievement and leadership skills, Victoria has been the recipient of numerous distinctions, including membership in the Alpha Chi honor society, and recognition by the School of Mathematics, Science and Engineering.

Victoria had the chance to intern at KABB FOX 29 and NEWS-4 WOAI in the weather departments. But it was her internship at KGNS-TV last July that started her career, back here at home in the Gateway City.

The well being of the public is her biggest concern at not only work, but in her personal life as well. She volunteers her time to several initiatives such as the Pink To Do (Breast Cancer Awareness) and the American Diabetes Association, which holds a special place in her heart. In her leisure time, she enjoys walking and spending time with her two adorable Chihuahuas: Achilles and Aphrodite.
