Patrick Nelson's hustle and passion for both news and sports landed him a position as an anchor/reporter on Laredo's CW and Pro-8 News in July 2009. As a 2009 graduate of Washington State University and the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication he earned a BA in Broadcast News and Production. He also spent much of his time covering Pac-10 athletics including time as the PA announcer for Cougar Volleyball.

Patrick's professional experience includes internships with the San Diego Padres & KGWN-5 in Cheyenne, WY. Born and raised in San Diego, CA he familiar with the characteristics of a border town like the gateway city. He enjoys playing golf, wakeboarding and rooting on his WSU Cougars, San Diego Chargers and Padres in his spare time.
