Here's a recap of this weekends varsity football scores. The United Longhorns rebounded from their week 1 loss to beat Corpus Christi Ray 34-15 on the road. United South falls to 0-2 losing to Tuloso-Midway. San Antonio O'connor had a big second half to take down the Alexander Bulldogs 49-21 at the SAC. Corpus Christi Carroll blew out the Nixon Mustangs 59-0. LBJ got their first home win since 2005... taking down Zapata 28-7… and San Antonio Johnson absolutely bullied the Cigarroa Toros 70-0. Other scores from around 8 country… Crystal City dropped a close one to Eagle Pass Winn 29-21. Carrizo Springs edged Cotulla 24-20. Hebbronville won on the road against Falfurrias 25-6. Bruni nipped Woodsboro 14-12… and finally Freer was blanked by the Rice Raiders 61-0.
