Smith and Spence headed to NHL camps

By Ray Gomez

Rookie goal-tender Daniel Spence, signed by the Bucks on September 3rd and last year's CHL rookie of the year Darryl Smith, have both been invited to attend NHL main camp with their respective teams… Spence with the Calgary Flames... and Smith with the Atlanta Thrashers. Both attended NHL prospects camp last week... and both did well enough to move on to the next level.

Coach Roscoe has always had an eye for good talent... And when he went after Smith last year it showed he had great talent and the same is true with this new goaltender... although we didnt get a chance to see him play on the ice- I am sure that if got the call, it is because he has some great talent aswell... Lets just give the bucks the fan support this year like we have done in the past and knowing coach Roscoe... we will see another high caliber team on the ice!
