3 way tie in 5A volleyball race

The high school volleyball playoff race... is arguably more exciting than the football race. Southwest has come back to claim the district lead... with Eagle Pass, Alexander and United all tied up with identical 10-3 records. All 4 are guarenteed a playoff spot, but playoff seeding is still on the line. Tomorrow night Alexander and United will square off, while Eagle Pass hosts the United South Panthers. In the 4a race, Calallen and Flour Bluff are still tied for the district lead. Calallen will play Cigarroa tomorrow, while Flour Bluff takes on Kingsville. Nixon has locked down the 3rd place spot and Tuloso will come in as the 4th place representative.
