Playoff race comes down to final game

On to to high school football... where on the 5A side... three teams are battling for their playoff lives. United... Eagle pass... and United South all got wins this weekend... creating a situation where playoff teams could be decided in a tie-breaker. Currently the Longhorns hold a 1 game advantage over both Alexander and Eagle pass. Should the Bulldogs and Eagles both get wins this Friday... United... Alexander and Eagle pass will end the season in a 3 way tie with 4-3 records. Another potential pitfall occurs if United South knocks off Eagle Pass and Alexander falls to United. The Panthers host the Eagles Thursday... while Alexander and United meet up on Friday.

Does it really matter if a Laredo team gets in?A one game blow out will happen and the "futbol" city moves on.Basketball slaughter season next for Laredo.
