29-5A all district selections

Today district 29-5A announced its all district selections. Making the first team at the wide receiver position... United Longhorns Rick Velasquez and Sergio Ramos along with Alexander Bulldog RJ Aguero. Jorge Navaro also of Alexander... was named to the first team at the offensive tackle position. On the defensive side of the ball... at the defensive tackle position Alexander's Jesus Perez and United's Pedro Salas were named to the 1st team. At linebacker only United's Derek Hale was picked for first team honors.
In the secondary... Alexander's Andrew Hall and United's Josh Garcia received first team status… and Alexander quarterback Brian Swain was named newcomer of the year.

Congrats to all selected you make Laredo and your respected schools even prouder. Hope you guys continue your success at the next level. Rick, Sergio, Derek, Pedro and Josh thanks for all the memories since grade school.
