Bucks clinch 3rd seed despite shootout loss

The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League fell to the Odessa Jackalopes 4-3 in a shootout Wednesday night in front of 5,064 fans at Laredo Energy Arena. The Bucks clinched the third seed in the Southern Conference playoffs thanks to Texas’ loss to Rapid City. Laredo falls to 31-20-11 (73 points). The Bucks will take on Allen in the Southern Conference semi-finals starting next weekend.
