Air Hogs Rumors Put To Rest

Last week the city of Laredo awarded the Ventura Sports Group the right to run the new Baseball facility headed to town in 2012. Over the last few days rumors have swirled that the Grand Prarie Air Hogs, a team run by Ventura, were forced to terminate many of their employees. Attendance in the team's third year has fallen and the team recently parted with with GM David Burke. Today a spokesman for the city of Grand Prarie refuted those claims saying nothing of the sort has taken place and Ventura is working to bring attendance back up.
