Avery Johnson Brings Powerful Message To Laredo

NBA champion Avery Johnson in town today for the conclusion of the Signature Skills Basketball Camp. Johnson addressed over 250 children with a very powerful message.... get out and get in. The former San Antonio Spur urged everyone in attendance to get out of the habit of complaining and get into competing. The 46 year old said it was that decision that led him to a successful career in the NBA. Johnson also thanked the Boys and Girls clubs of Laredo as well as Judge Danny Valdez and Dr. Marcus Nelson for their support in bringing him back to town.
