By KGNS News

TAMIU softball completed one of the greatest comebacks in team history as they scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning and defeated one of the arch nemeses in St. Edwards at St. Mary's field on Thursday afternoon. The Dustdevils were victorious 4-3.

Leading off the bottom of seventh was Samantha Garcia who would cut into the lead of St. Ed's with a solo homerun off Diana Cezeaux to left field making the score three to two. All Heartland Conference team member Alexis Gonzales would draw a walk setting up the greatest finish in TAMIU history.
