Brian Welnetz Perfect In PSU Opening Weekend

Brian Welnetz took control of his No. 3 match against Mikhail Sudakov early, winning the first set 6-0. He never looked back, taking a 3-0 lead before eventually taking the second set, 6-2. The victory gave Penn State a 2-0 advantage and clear momentum.

The focus then turned to the No. 2 match up where Welnetz continued his strong play, taking down Colin Laffey in straight sets, 6-2, 6-0, for a 3-0 lead.
