Broncos Flop in Doubleheader

The Laredo Broncos took on Coastal Bend in a doubleheader on Wednesday. The Thunder (18-27) hit three two run homers against Santo Hernandez and the Broncos (20-26) to take the 9-4 victory in game one of the scheduled double header at Veterans Field.

Levy Ventura hit a three run homer in the fifth inning; his second of the evening; to give the Thunder a 4-1 lead and put Coastal Bend (19-27) in a position to win game two of the double header over the Broncos (20-27); which they did by a score of 4-2.
