Bucks Back In Last After Loss To Bees

The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League fell to the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees 3-2 in overtime Tuesday night at Laredo Energy Arena. The Bucks two-game home winning streak comes to an end as they fall to 13-16-6 (32 points) on the season.

Tyler Lehrke tipped in a loose puck with just 2:04 left in overtime to snap the Killer Bees four game losing streak as they improve to 15-21-3 (33 points).

Attendance has been dropping, and the team hasn't been playing well this season. But do you really want to see the end of hockey in Laredo? I would miss it terribly if they had to leave.

It's time for the Buck to fold up their tents and move elsewhere, maybe to a hockey town that supports the sport and not just the fights that break out. Attendance has been dropping every year and it is just a matter of time before they go under.
