Bucks Bring Back Benson

The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League announced Wednesday that they have signed forward Hans Benson for the 2010-11 season. Benson, who helped the Bucks capture the 2006 President’s Cup Championship, spent time in the AHL and ECHL the last four seasons.

Benson, who will turn 27 on September 20th, has piled up a total 1,240 PIM’s and scored 54 points (16-38=54) in 298 career games (4.2 PIM’s per game). In his two seasons in Laredo from 2004-2006 Benson amassed 429 PIM’s and picked up 27 points (8-19=27) in 113 regular season games, while scoring five points (3-2=5) and notching 47 PIM’s in 20 CHL playoff games.
