Bucks Re-Sign Darryl Smith

The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League announced Monday that they have re-signed two-time CHL All Star and 2008-09 CHL Rookie of the Year Darryl Smith for the 2010-11 season. Smith is expected to be in the lineup Tuesday when the Bucks host Bossier-Shreveport.

The Bucks also announced on Monday that they have activated Mark O’Leary from the 10-day IR and placed Reid Edmondson on the 10-day IR.

The 23-year-old Smith returns for his third season in Laredo after being released by Wheeling (ECHL) on Saturday (Nov. 6th). Smith picked up six points (0-6=6) for Wheeling before being released.
