Bucks Sign Rookie Petrukhno

The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League announced Tuesday that they have signed rookie defenseman Denys Petrukhno for the 2010-11 season. Petrukhno spent the last two seasons playing junior hockey for the Springfield Jr. Blues (NAHL).

During the last two seasons Petrukhno (pronounced pet-TROOK-no), a native of Kiev, Ukraine, put up 44 points (18-26=44) and 152 PIM’s in 98 total games for the Blues.
