Bulldogs Ready To Shine

The talk of the high school baseball season may have been the United Longhorns, but when the dust settled it was the Alexander Bulldogs who brought home the district championship. On Friday Alexander will take the first step of their playoff journey hosting the number four seed Mission Eagles. The Bulldogs and Eagles will play a best of three series with game one played Friday night at the SAC. Head Coach Mario Garcia tells Pro 8 Sports Fernie Garza will start on the mound for Alexander. First pitch set for 7:30 Friday night with games two and three if necessary Saturday in Mission.
