By KGNS News

he Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League announced Thursday that Igor Agarunov will not re-sign with the team for the 2010-11 season. Agarunov has spent his entire six-year career with the Bucks and was a key part of Laredo’s 2006 President’s Cup Championship squad.

"I don’t want to use the word ‘retire’, but I know I’m not going to play this season for sure," Agarunov said. "I’m going to miss playing a lot but there are some other things I want to do right now besides play hockey. I want to thank the Bucks fans and the City of Laredo for making the last six years of my life so memorable."
