Mandel Golf Course 60% Complete

City officials say the Max Mandel Municipal Golf Course is around 60% complete. Fifteen of the eighteen holes have irrigation systems in place and cart paths are beginning to line the fairways. On the 17th hole, construction of a lake along the left side of the fairway has been completed and the grass planting phase will begin in August. The clubhouse which was planned to be 2800 square feet, has been amped up to 8500 square feet. Opening day for the course is expected sometime in February.
