Chill out is correct in saying "Districts with winning programs are the one's that invest in the program, coaches, equipment, and facilities." LISD has very limited resources. At the leadership meeting yesterday it was mentioned that even security will be cut in next years budget. How can LISD invest in a top notch athletic program when staffing and budget cuts are looming.

Any coach can guide that infested school to play as long as they have 24 committed players thats all you need. Plus 5 coaches with hefty salaries and you make history,...That is at a peewee league level with that school.

Districts with winning programs are the one's that invest in the program, coaches, equipment, and facilities. We have or are getting the facilities and equipment but coaches are a different matter. He is right the district will try to get people who can do two jobs but few if any can do both jobs well. If districts want winning programs they are going to have to invest in winning coaches but education has been more important so continue to accept the status quo.

I wonder what he wanted from the poor district. An executive directors salary perhaps?
