Patrick Nelson On The Road With TAMIU

By KGNS News

It's all systems go for Texas A&M International University's men's basketball team at the NCAA South Central Regional Championship Tournament. The Dustdevils went through their final practice on Friday afternoon at Hamilton Field House on the University of Central Oklahoma campus in Edmond.

The practice session was crisp and the players are excited about representing TAMIU in its NCAA Tournament debut on Saturday against the top-seeded and host UCO Bronchos. In contrast to TAMIU's status a NCAA Tournament newcomer, Central Oklahoma is making its 12th all-time tournament appearance and fourth straight appearance. The Bronchos have won two regional titles, in 1992 and 2008.
