TAMIU Girls Soccer Off To Best Start Ever

By KGNS News

First half goals by Shelby Williams and Whitney Fullmer lifted Texas A&M International University to a 2-0 victory over Northwood on Sunday afternoon. The game was played at St. Mary's University in San Antonio.

Senior goalkeeper Sasha Scott went the distance for the Dustdevils, recording five saves to lift TAMIU to its first 2-0 start in the nine year history of the program.

The 2-0 start also marks the first time TAMIU has won consecutive games since 2005 season, when the Dustdevils won three straight games near the end of that campaign.
