The Texas A&M International University Dustdevils protected their home court in a Heartland Conference battle on thursday night as they defeated Newman Universirty by a final score of 85-59. Gomez would lead five different players in double figures as he would oput up 25 big points.

Women:
The Texas A&M International University Women's basketball team dropped a hard fought effort on thursday night to conference foe Newman University 77-61.
