TAMIU Volleyball Hoping For Turnaround

By KGNS News

Heartland Conference preseason polls released on Monday and TAMIU volleyball picked to finish second to last. The Dustdevils are coming of a dismal 2010 season where they managed only one win in their 26-game schedule. They now turn to first year head coach Al Givens, who spent the last 18 seasons, as head coach at Weber State University. The team hopes that a new head coach will bring a new swagger to the program and help the Dustdevils compete for a conference title. The Dustdevils open the season taking on Washburn university September 2nd at the Midwestern State Tournament in Wichita Falls.
