United Seniors Prepare For Final Run At State

For 4 years the United girls golf team has dominated district play racking up multiple titles. But the one thing they've yet to accomplish, earning a trip to the state tournament.
On April 18th the Horns will head to Los Lagos golf course in Edinburg for their final run at state. So far this season the top five for United have finished in the top 6 in every district tournament. But the competition they'll go up against at regionals is far superior to what they've faced locally. At district, the girls shot a two-day combined score of 691. Coach Palacios says it would take right around 640 to have a chance to qualify.
