Women ages 21 through 54 are invited to join the growing number of women already members of Laredo Medical Center’s Healthy Woman Program.

Four years ago, Laredo Medical Center launched its program for women called Healthy Woman in an effort to help women take care of their health. Women are primarily responsible for taking care of health matters in the home—whether it’s for the children or the spouse—but most times ignore their own health because they’re usually too busy caring for everyone else. At LMC, women’s health is valued and a priority.

Women who join the Healthy Woman Program say they find comfort in numbers with enrollment having grown over the last four years to over 1,000 members. Healthy Woman offers monthly events featuring presenters who discuss health, financial and spiritual topics.

Membership is free and most seminars take place during the lunch hour or immediately after work. In both cases, a complimentary healthy lunch or dinner is served.

There is no cost for membership, and all presentations are held at LMC Tower B, Community Center, 1st floor.
