Students recognized for being Role Models

By KGNS News

Some Laredo students are recognized today for being outstanding role models.
This months 'Community Role Model Awards' were handed out by the Webb County Sheriff's Department and Sheriff Martin Cuellar earlier this morning.
The ceremony was held at United High School.
This month's principal honoree, Reymundo Saldana, was honored with a 500-dollar scholarship to LCC to study law enforcement.
Students are selected for setting a positive example for the peers, through their commitment to the community, and for living a drug-free lifestyle.
