Students recognized as Community Role Models for the month of May

A group of Laredo students are recognized for being great Community Role Models.
Fourteen students were selected to receive the 'Community Role Model Award' on Tuesday.
Each student was selected for not only their academic performance, and extra curricular activities, but also for leading by example in the community.
Each student received a $500 dollar scholarship to attend L.C.C. and study criminal justice.
The Community Role Model Awards are sponsored by Webb County Sheriff Martin Cuellar, the Webb County Sheriff's Office, your good neighbor station KGNS-TV and The Fernando Salinas Charitable Trust.
