8th graders from UISD, LISD, and Webb CISD were honored with a ceremony to commend their hard work and dedication to their academics at United Middle School. Students were presented with a certificate and trophy in recognition of their efforts. The 8th Grader of the Month is proudly sponsored by the Laredo Police Department, KGNS and our Friends of the Family sponsors which include Family Chevrolet and Laredo Medical Center. Entertainment was provided by the United Middle School String Orchestra and refreshments were served after the ceremony. Present at the ceremony were district and school officials as well as parents and other family members.
