Trautmann Middle School was host to the October Eighth Grader of the Month program. Eighth graders from Laredo's school districts were honored for their dedication and hard work today. Our first ceremony for this school year took place at the Trautmann School gymnasium where students were presented with a certificate, U.I.S.D. back pack, trophy and medal.

Among those in attendance were our honorees, Trautmann Middle School Principal Raymundo Gonzalez III, teachers, counselors, school officials, U.I.S.D. Superintendent Bobby Santos, Superintendent of Catholic Schools Rosa Maria Vida, parents and family members, Laredo Police Department: Chief of Police Carlos Maldonado, Ofc. Laura Montemayor, Ofc. Joe Baeza, KGNS and our Friends of the Family partners: including Greg Morgansen and Luis Villareal from Family Chevrolet and Laura Aguilar from the Laredo Medical Center. Entertainment was provided by Trautmann's mariachi ensemble. With refreshments provided after the ceremony for everyone to enjoy.
