Several local middle school students were honored today.
That’s because 17 eight graders from both districts as well as private schools, were named Eighth Graders of the Month.
The ceremony was held at Christen Middle School this morning.
The students were given medals, plaques and other awards.
The Eight Grader of the Month program is sponsored by the Laredo Police Department and Friends of the Family which include Family Chevrolet, Dr. Effren Moreno, the Laredo Medical Center and KGNS-TV.
A big congratulations to all of those hard working students for being named November's, Eighth Graders of the Month.
