A group of Laredo area middle schoolers were honored as eighth graders of the month this morning. Parents and friends gathered at the Laredo Public Library to celebrate the achievements of these fine students. The mayor was also on hand to congratulate the kids and commend them on a job well done. One 8th grader from each of the area middle schools was honored with awards from the Laredo Police Department, Laredo Medical Center and your Good Neighbor Family of Stations.
