KGNS-TV8 is looking for the right individual to fill a morning news anchor / reporter position. Candidate will work at 4:30am for our 6am hour long morning show. Once the show is over, the right candidate will share news briefs with another anchor and then report for the day. This person must be able to pitch ideas, add to newscasts by covering events in the field and learn to edit digitally. Social media skills are a must. We are looking for only motivated individuals who can handle chaos and stress of the newsroom. If you are up to the challenge, it can be the most rewarding job in your career. Experience in anchoring is preferred.
Bilingual is preferred, but not necessary.
