Police take over $1,000,000 worth of cocaine off the streets

Members of the Laredo Police Department Narcotics Vice Unit, conducted surveillance at a residence located at 1410 Salinas Street on information that there was a load of cocaine. The Laredo Police Department Narcotics Unit arrested subject Lauro Samuel DeLa Rosa, DOB 06/12/84, who resides at 1400 Salinas for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine) F/1. The subject was transported to the Laredo Police Department where he was booked. Subject Lauro Samuel DeLa Rosa was later transported to Webb County Jail Pending Magistration. The total weight of the controlled substance was 231 Lbs of Cocaine, valued at $1,913,835.00, was placed inside the property room under 08-3644.
