Most of the city has been talking about the Swine Flu, and city officials say they're ready for what may come. With most schools closed and no confirmed cases of swine flu in Laredo, city officials say they continue monitoring the situation as cases of influenza "A" seem to be rising. After a few weeks' worth of meetings between local and state officials, health experts say the message is still the same: maintain proper hygene. City officials also say the public should not panic. They want to remind everyone about hotlines that have been set to answer any questions regarding the flu.
