An investigation is now underway after a teenager from Zapata was found dead this week.
Officials say the Austin medical examiners office is performing an autopsy on 18-year-old Juan Andrew Martinez of Zapata.
It is believed that his body was found in the Huntsville area.
According to the Walker County judge, it is too early to clarify how Martinez died. Results of his autopsy could take anywhere from one to six weeks to come back.
Martinez had just graduated from Zapata County High School and was planning to attend college.
