The Laredo police department is investigating Laredo’s 14th homicide of the year.
There is little information, but the victim was shot multiple times.
Investigators are still working on this case that happened last night off of Mines Road.
According to police, dispatch received a call about a shooting in the six hundred block of Bayonne, right before 10 p.m. last night.
Officers arrived and found a man lying on the ground in front of a home.
The victim is being identified as 30 year old Omar Rubio Pardo.
According to first responders Pardo received multiple gun shot wounds to the upper torso.
He was transported in critical condition to Doctors Hospital and later died.
Albert Escobedo, Laredo Police Department, "They did transport several witnesses from the scene to police headquarters for interview. Our Capers Homicide division is taking care of the investigation."
At this moment the investigation is in the preliminary stages.
