United South Track Star Goes To State

The UIL Region IV Cross Country Meet was held on Saturday afternoon at Brooks City Base in San Antonio. Four teams and 14 runners who finished in the top 10 at their district meets represented Laredo at the regional meet. United South’s Rainy Castañeda finished in seventh place in the girls’ 4A division to become the only Laredo athlete to punch her way to the state meet this coming weekend in Round Rock. More
