Production Assistant :
KGNS TV 8/Laredo CW and Laredo Telemundo have a Full Time/Part-Time Production Assistant opening. Experience in TV broadcasting preferred, but not required. Production assistants are trained in: on-air programming, on-air commercial spots, operating cameras, backup, and operating audio board. Schedule includes weekends and early morning shifts. A positive attitude and good work ethics are essential.

Reporter:
KGNS-TV, the NBC affiliate in Laredo, Texas, is looking for an energetic, organized and enterprising reporter. The person hired will have an opportunity to cover news in one of the fastest growing cities in Texas. Laredo is on the U.S.-Mexico border and is the busiest inland port in the United States. Border trade, immigration, Homeland Security and feuding drug cartels are some of the stories our reporters cover. The person hired will be required to enterprise story ideas, generate contacts and work with our team of photographers to turn PKGs , VOs, VO/SOTs and live shots on a daily basis. A degree in Broadcast Journalism is preferred. Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation and 401K.
