A Laredo family is looking for answers, only days after their loved one dies in a fire.
The family home caught fire early Sunday morning.
Fire officials have still not concluded their investigation, but family members say they are pretty sure of what happened that night.
The Castillion family is now in the process of making funeral arrangements but they tell us it's still hard to believe what has happened and now worry about their future.
He was an angel she says.
Castillo still can't comprehend what has happened only days after their family home was reduced to ashes.
The fire broke early Sunday morning in central Laredo, destroying everything in its path and taking the life of a man in his 40's.
She says it's easy to see everything is gone and says even the pictures of their loved ones are no more. Fire officials are still investigating but have not determined the cause of the fire but family members think they know what happened after hearing what neighbors had to say.
People told her that fireworks were the cause.
She says witnesses even heard fireworks at that hour, moments before the fire started.
Now Castillo wants a full investigation and hopes others will learn from this incident.
She says no one ever knows what lies in the future. Today it was them, but we don't know who could be next.
Family members say their parents, who lived in the home with their son, are very ill and weak.
All of their belongings were burned and now they're asking for help from the community to help pay for funeral expenses.
The Loved organization has now set up an account at IBC bank to assist the Salvador Castillo family.
The account number is 2110974109.
They are also in need of basic necessities such as clothing and toiletries.

Meanwhile Laredo Fire Department officials say their investigation is still on-going but say fireworks have not been ruled out.
