Over $300,000 worth of drugs and guns seized by CBP agents

Customs and Border Protection agents seized marijuana and several weapons headed into Mexico on Wednesday.

A total of over $300,000 worth of drugs and weapons were confiscated in three separate incidents.

One of those occurred when an agent discovered 15 weapons and two rounds of magazines hidden in the panels of a car headed southbound on the Lincoln-Juarez Bridge.

The second involved a Honda SUV and a total of 72 pounds of marijuana.

A third incident at the World Trade Bridge resulted in the seizure of over 200 pounds of marijuana found in the tractor-trailer's sleeper area.
