El Metro & Mall Del Norte: Council to Tackle Transportation Issues

City officials are set to discuss an issue that stirred up lots of emotions from bus riders early last month. Back on October 8th, Mall Del Norte anounced it would not be allowing El Metro to pick up or drop off passengers on their property. Mall representatives said bus traffic had damaged their property and a tough economy was making it hard to pay for repairs. The change forced many bus riders to walk long distances to get to the mall. City council will begin discussions at tomorrow's meeting on what actions to take to possibly restore El Metro services to Mall Del Norte.
