D.A. extends amnesty program for hot check writers

The office of the District Attorney has extended the hot checks amnesty program for another week.
Due to a tremendous response from the public, the program has been extended until Friday November 6th at four thirty in the afternoon.
All of those who do not pay their debt with the District Attorney's office will have warrants issued in their name.
The DA's office anticipates preparing seventy to eighty warrants.
They have also collected more than twenty thousand dollars over the past two weeks.
