Police stop random vehicles in safety inspection

By Ray Gomez

Patrol officers were seen at the same intersection pulling over random vehicles for what they call a safety inspection.
Officers say they are making sure drivers comply with traffic laws.
Officers were giving citations for expired license plates, and illegal tint.
In just the 15 minutes we were there, two vehicles were towed for not having insurance.
Officers say they want to bring awareness to drivers on traffic safety.
Police also say they had received complaints about drivers in that area.
