Pro 8 Update: Police motorcycle officer injured in hit and run

A Laredo police department motorcycle officer has been taken to the hospital after a hit and run accident on Loop 20.
Initial reports say the officer was hit at the intersection of Loop 20 and Saunders
We’re told the driver sped away from the scene and the officer had to be rushed to the hospital...
At this point we're told the officer is in stable condition with a possible arm fracture.
Police are looking for a red Nissan Maxima with left end damage.
