The home that once belonged to two-year-old Katherine Cardenas and her family is now for rent.
The home has been re-painted and is now empty.
The “for rent” sign can be seen in the front window of the home.
Meanwhile the County Attorney's office and even the County Court at Law number one will not comment on the status of the 16 year old accused of killing Katherine.
The deadline to certify the teen as an adult is coming up.
The juvenile's attorney had told us the deadline to submit the certification is 60 days after he has been arrested.
The 60-day deadline is coming up but no one will comment on the case.
There is a gag order preventing anyone from giving any information to the media.
