Helping children through a difficult time in their lives is what one weekend fundraiser is aiming to do. The 6th Annual Pulling For Kids Fundraiser, will be held Saturday, August 4, 2012, at the South Texas Shooting Complex.
It's all part of the court appointed special advocate program, Voz de Niños. District Attorney Isidro Alaniz explains the importance of donating to such an agency: "It's an important agency that helps children in situations of neglect & abuse in appointing these advocates that help reduce the trauma and help the children go through the court process."
Registration is ongoing online at www.vozdeniños.org. You could also register the day of the event before 8AM. The cost per adult shooter is $150, while the cost per youth is $125.
